We're going to katsucon next year. Who needs a room, cause we'll have plenty of space in ours. Right now it looks like 4 people are already staying. We're debating on staying at the Embassy Suites that is down the street instead of staying at the Mariott. But we are still working on that. Posted via LiveJournal.app. |

| | happy | ] | Last night for mine and David's birthday, Lizzie and Tiff set up a little shindig for us. We all went out to Sumo San in Richmond for great dinner and better drinks (Nigori Sake is amazing!). Quite surprised with the turnout after a few people canceled. After that we went back to the apartment and played Singstar for a couple hours before I had to hit the sack because I had work in the morning. Thanks to everyone who showed up, it was great hanging out with you peeps.
Thank you Lizzie, this was the best birthday party I've ever had. I love you! |

I want to take a vacation. I've been thinking about this for a while now. Some of you may have heard me mention this before, but I want to go to the beach for a week. I want to get some friends together and rent a cottage in the outer banks next year and just chill. Hang out for a week at the beach with friends would be awesome. I just want to know who is truly interested in doing something like this. I was also thinking about possibly going camping this year. I haven't done that in forever either. Gotta do some more mining soon too. |

We can all meet up and have super happy fun times and meet the Ambassador of Happyness once again. Possibly visit Kaz's too, just bring some money for that cause it's good, but not cheap.

| | accomplished | ] | I bought a new car today. A used 2006 Nissan Sentra Special Edition. I'm happy with it, I'll have pictures later. Other than that, everything else has been great. Katsucon was alright, hanging out with everyone was awesome though. |

| | content | ] | Today started off pretty poorly. First of all, I had to be at work at 4 AM this morning, which doesn't bother that much honestly. Last night before I went to sleep, I triple-checked my alarm clock to make sure it was set for 2 AM. Well, I woke up at 4:12 this morning, and looked at my clock. Shocked, I jumped up, got a quick shower, quick shaved, got dressed, and was out the door by 4:18. I must have gotten up in the middle of the night and turned off the alarm or something. I have no clue honestly. But other than being a little angry for being late to work, the day went well. I was kind of in a haze though from not waking up properly. This whole week I've had to go into work really early because of our crazy holiday hours. The rest of the day has gone by smoothly. Went over to my grandparents house like usual, and did the whole family thing. Tomorrow is the other side of the family. But for now, I think I'll kick back and watch a movie. Merry Christmas to everyone, and if you don't celebrate that, have a good time in whatever you do celebrate. |

| Sleep and gemstones |
[Dec. 20th, 2006|01:29 pm] |
Finally got to get a decent amount of sleep today. Work's been crazy and I have not slept well in the last few days. Thank God that the holiday season is almost over, then it'll be a ghost town once again in the store. In other news, I taught class on Monday night in Aikido. It was fun learning experience. Whether or not this becomes a regular thing, I do not know. Moving on, I'm thinking of taking off the third week in January for gem mining in NC. I believe the dates are the 14th through the 20th. Not sure if I'll stay all week, I doubt I can afford a hotel room for that long. Those that still want to go, let me know so we can start setting things up and all.
Oh, and what is everyone doing for New Years? I want to do something, hopefully I won't work both days like last year. Let me know what you're doing too.
UPDATE:
I'm off New Year's Eve Day and I go into work on New Year's Day at 3:30! I can actually enjoy myself thoroughly this year! |

| | hopeful | ] | I finally watched Spirited Killer, which was a complete waste of time. It was utterly craptastic. Moving on, I found out the other day at work that I have 56 hours of personal time that I have to use by March or they shall be forfeited. So I'm thinking about taking off a week in January to go gem mining in NC. Probably go visit friends as well, not sure yet. I need the time off, haven't had a vacation in about 7 or 8 years now. I was wondering if anyone wanted to join me on this expedition. Haven't decided what days I'll take off yet, also need to take time off for Katsucon. |

1. Comment with your name and I'll say something about you. 2. I'll tell you which singer / anime / game reminds me of you. 3. I'll tell you something we have in common. 4. I'll tell you something I envy from you. 5. I'll tell you my first memory of you. 6. I'll ask you something I've always wanted to ask you. 7. If I fill this for you, you must meme too. |

| | less than jake is playing in my head... | ] | Today at work I found a pretty cool DVD. It's called Spirited Killer and is apparantly Tony Jaa's film debut. I bought it considering it's Tony Jaa and it was real cheap after discount. If you haven't seen Ong Bak or Tom Yum Goong, you should. They are both awesome Martial Arts movies. Don't bother seeing The Protector, it's just a hacked version of Tom Yum Goong. About 30-40 minutes must've been edited out of the film for the US version. I have yet to watch it, but after I do I'll tell you all how it is. Superman Returns comes out tomorrow on DVD, and I'm tempted to go buy it, but I think I'll wait for now. I need to get the James Bond box sets as well. Go see Casino Royale if you haven't yet! It's awesome, best bond film in a long time.
Btw, I'm single again for those who didn't know yet. Time for me to concentrate on myself, for now. |
